Flying Tenerife

A DRIVE can be understood as an instinctual motivation to action. Like a drive for freedom is an innate need to engage in flying...
There are no official infrastructures for takeoff and landing. For this reason, two essential things you will need are:
Local professional pilots
Can guide you in choosing the right takeoff spot based on the weather and your level of skill and experience.
A reliable transportation service
that can take you to and from the chosen locations for takeoff and landing.
Tenerife is known as the island of eternal spring, a name largely attributed to the trade winds whose humidity condenses, forming large seas of clouds between 600 and 1800 metres in altitude.
In the winter season, the number of paragliders on the island multiplies because the weather in their countries is not favourable, and tourists take advantage of practising here. This increases the probability of accidents as not everyone comes with a high level of training, creating an inconvenience because each flying area has its own conditions. We have strong wind gusts, leeward and windward conditions very pronounced. When you plan to fly elsewhere, it's advisable to rely on local professionals and let them decide where to fly based on the conditions of each site.
